Pepper jelly
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vinegar
- chopped green bell pepper
- bottle liquid pectin - 1 item
- chopped or ground hot pepper red or green - 2 c
How to make pepper jelly:
Grind peppers using fine blade. Mix with sugar and vinegar and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Add pectin and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Pour in hot sterilized jars and seal. Jelly may be strained before adding pectin to make it clear.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Spreads, Jellies.
