Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cream or milk - 3/4 c
- pecans, chopped - 3/4 c
How to make penuche:
Melt butter in saucepan. Add sugar and milk; stir until dissolved. Boil until the soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Leave undisturbed until cool. Beat as for chocolate fudge. Stir in nuts.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Candy.
