- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 3 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- butter - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sifted flour - 1 c
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- broken pecans - 2/3 c
How to make pecan tassies:
Pastry: Mix cream cheese, flour, and butter. Chill about an hour, then shape into small 1-inch balls. Press into gem muffin tins. Filling: Beat together egg, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, and broken pecans. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Pie, Pies and tarts, Hand Formed cookies.
