  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 3 oz
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • butter - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • sifted flour - 1 c
  • stick butter or margarine - 1 item
  • broken pecans - 2/3 c

How to make pecan tassies:

Pastry: Mix cream cheese, flour, and butter. Chill about an hour, then shape into small 1-inch balls. Press into gem muffin tins. Filling: Beat together egg, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, and broken pecans. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
