  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • pecan pieces - 2/3 c
  • Filling:1 egg

How to make pecan tassies:

Filling:1 egg3/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla2/3 c. pecan pieces Crust: Combine cream cheese and butter in medium bowl. Beat at medium speed until blended. Add flour. Beat until well blended. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.

Heat oven to 350°. Shape dough into 2 dozen 1-inch balls. Press balls into bottom and all the way up sides to top edge of ungreased muffin pan (1 3/4-inch).

Filling: Combine egg, brown sugar, butter and vanilla in medium bowl. Stir until well blended. Stir in nuts. Fill each cup three-quarters full. Do not overfill. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
