  • pkg - 1 oz
  • packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • coarsely chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • Pecan Filling:1 egg

How to make pecan tassies:

Pecan Filling:1 egg3/4 c. packed brown sugar1 Tbsp. margarine1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans Beat together egg, brown sugar and margarine. Stir in chopped pecans.

For pastry: In a mixing bowl, beat margarine and cream cheese until thoroughly combined. Stir in flour. Press a rounded teaspoon of dough into the bottom and up the sides of each 24 ungreased 1 3/4-inch muffin cups. Fill each pastry cup with one heaping tablespoon of pecan filling. Bake in a 325° oven for 30 minutes. Cool slightly, then remove from pans.
