  • sugar
  • eggs - 7 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 3/4 c
  • dark corn syrup - 2 c
  • broken pecans - 3 c
  • tart shells frozen Bama shells - 32 item

How to make pecan tarts:

Heat oven to 350°. Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter and syrup with mixer. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Place tart shells on cookie sheet and fill 3/4 full. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until filling is set. Depending on how full you fill shells, you may have a few more or less than 32 tarts.
