Pecan stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- large fresh mushrooms - 1 lb
- butter - 1/4 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley, chopped - 1 item
How to make pecan stuffed mushrooms:
Clean mushrooms; remove and chop stems. Place caps in buttered shallow baking dish. Melt butter; saute stems in garlic and butter. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Stuff cups. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm. Makes approximately 2 dozen. Can be prepared 1 day ahead and refrigerated.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Bacon.
