Pecan squares
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 5 item
- chopped pecans - 2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- Karo Syrup - 1 c
How to make pecan squares:
Combine yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and oil. Press into 13 x 9-inch greased pan and bake at 300° for 20 minutes. While cake is cooking mix 4 eggs, sugar, Karo syrup, butter, and chopped pecans. Pour mixture over cooked cake and bake 45 minutes on 300°. Since oven temperatures vary, during the last 5 to 10 minutes of cooking check closely. Do Not Over Cook.
