Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- oleo, softened - 1 c
- light corn syrup
- butter or oleo - 3 Tbsp
- Filling:4 eggs
How to make pecan squares:
Filling:4 eggs1 1/2 c. light corn syrup1 1/2 c. sugar3 Tbsp. butter or oleo2 1/2 c. chopped pecans1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix in large bowl. Blend flour, sugar, butter and salt until coarse. Press firmly into a greased pan, 15 x 10 x 1. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in another bowl, combine first 5 filling ingredients. Stir in pecans.
