  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped pecans
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • oleo, softened - 1 c
  • light corn syrup
  • butter or oleo - 3 Tbsp
  • Filling:4 eggs

How to make pecan squares:

Filling:4 eggs1 1/2 c. light corn syrup1 1/2 c. sugar3 Tbsp. butter or oleo2 1/2 c. chopped pecans1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix in large bowl. Blend flour, sugar, butter and salt until coarse. Press firmly into a greased pan, 15 x 10 x 1. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in another bowl, combine first 5 filling ingredients. Stir in pecans. Spread over crust and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
