Pecan sandies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/3 c
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• water - 2 tsp
• margarine - 1 c
• sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c

How to make pecan sandies:

Cream the margarine and sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in flour and pecans. Chill 4 hours. Shape in balls or fingers. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and sift confectioners sugar on cookies. Makes about 3 dozen.
