Pecan rolls
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 3 Tbsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- jar marshmallow cream - 1 oz
How to make pecan rolls:
Mix first 3 ingredients well; mix with hands if necessary. Shape mixture into 5 (4 1/2 or 5-inch) rolls. Mixture will be dry. Chill 2 to 3 hours.In top of double boiler or microwave, mix caramels and water until melted. Dip rolls in melted caramels and roll each in chopped pecans. Chill 1 hour, then cut into slices or wrap in wax paper and put in refrigerator. Makes nice Christmas gifts with bows tied on each end.
