Pecan rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- finely chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- minced parsley - 2 Tbsp
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- brown rice - 1 c
How to make pecan rice:
Cook rice as directed on the package. In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, cook onion in margarine until tender, but not browned. Add hot cooked rice, pecans, parsley, basil, ginger, salt and pepper. Mix well by lifting with a fork. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Rice.
