- chopped pecans
- flour - 3 c
- margarine - 3/4 c
- light corn syrup
- margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
- + 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
- Filling:4 eggs, slightly beaten
How to make pecan pie squares:
Filling:4 eggs, slightly beaten1 1/2 c. sugar2 1/2 c. chopped pecans1 1/2 c. light corn syrup3 Tbsp. margarine, melted1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Heat oven to 350°. Grease jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch. Beat flour, sugar, margarine and salt in large bowl on medium speed until crumbly (mixture will be dry). Press firmly in pan. Bake until light golden brown (about 20 minutes).Prepare filling by mixing all filling ingredients, except pecans until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour over baked layer; spread evenly. Bake until filling is set, about 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into squares.
