Pecan pie squares



  • sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • vanilla
  • chopped pecans
  • flour - 3 c
  • margarine - 3/4 c
  • margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
  • Karo light or dark or mix syrup

How to make pecan pie squares:

Grease jelly roll pan. Beat flour, sugar and margarine until crumbly. Press firmly in pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes, or until golden. Prepare filling by stirring eggs, corn syrup, sugar, margarine and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans. Spread evenly over crust. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, or until set. Cool. Makes 60 (1 1/2-inch) bars.
