Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • finely chopped pecans - 3/4 c
  • light corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c

How to make pecan pie bars:

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix flour and 2 tablespoons brown sugar in bowl with hands. Work in 1/2 cup butter until dough holds together. Pat into 9-inch pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.

Beat together eggs and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Pour over crust. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
