Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- pecan halves - 1 c
- dark corn syrup - 1 c
- 8-inch pie shell, unbaked - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Spread pecan halves over the bottom of the unbaked pie shell. Beat the eggs until frothy. Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter. Blend thoroughly. Pour filling over pecans in shell. Bake 10 minutes in hot 450° oven. Reduce the heat to 350° and bake for 35 minutes longer.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
