  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped pecans
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • butter, melted - 1/4 c
  • white corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make pecan pie:

In mixer bowl, slightly beat eggs. Add and blend well the sugar, syrups, evaporated milk, butter, salt and vanilla. Add pecans and pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake in 400° oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake an additional 30 to 40 minutes or until filling is puffed in center and is well browned. Let pie cool before cutting.
