Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- pecan halves - 1 1
- white sugar - 1 c
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- stick oleo - 2/3 item
How to make pecan pie:
Melt oleo; add sugar and syrup. Heat until sugar is almost dissolved. Beat eggs until light. Mix eggs and sugar mixture real well. Add dash of salt. Put pecans in pie shell. Carefully pour syrup over pecans. Pecans will come to top. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°. Bake for 40 minutes more or until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
