Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- melted butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- whole eggs - 3 item
- whole or sliced pecans - 1 c
How to make pecan pie:
Beat eggs. Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla, melted butter and pecans. Mix together well and put in uncooked pastry shell. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Check pie after 50 minutes. If crust is getting too brown, cover with foil. Pecans rise to the top of the pie to form a crust on the top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
