Pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/4 c
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• dark corn syrup - 1 c
• pecans - 1 c
• butter, melted - 1/2 c
• 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make pecan pie:

Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, butter and syrup. Turn into pie shell and sprinkle nuts on top; stir into mixture using a fork. Bake in a 450° oven for 10 minutes. Lower heat to 350° and bake 35 minutes longer, or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
