Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pecans - 1 c
- Blue Label syrup, dark or light - 3/4 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
This makes a crunchy pecan pie. If your desire more syrupy and gooey, then just add 1/4 more syrup and 1/4 more sugar to the same other ingredients.This pie works much better if your pie crust is frozen when you put mixture in it.
Beat eggs until foamy (do not overbeat). Add syrup, sugar, butter and salt. Add pecans. Bake 15 minutes at 400°, then reduce to 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
