Pecan pie



  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter or margarine, melted - 1/3 c
  • dark or light corn syrup - 1 c
  • pastry for 9-inch one crust pie
  • pecan halves or broken pecans - 1 c

How to make pecan pie:

Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter and syrup with rotary beater. Stir in nuts. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Bake at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes, or until filling is set.
