- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- white corn syrup - 1 c
- 9-inch plain pastry shell - 1 item
- narrow strips of pastry - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in 3 eggs one at a time. Add 1 cup white corn syrup. Beat together well; add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped pecans. Pour into pie shell and bake at 300° until center is firm, about 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
