Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 3/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- pecan halves - 1 1
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Combine the first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and butter melts. Let cool slightly. Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture, stirring well. Pour filling into pie shell. Top with pecan halves. Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
