Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- confectioners sugar - 1/2 c
- vegetable shortening Crisco - 1 c
- pecans, finely chopped - 3/4 c
How to make pecan logs:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Beat in flour and salt. Add vanilla. Fold in pecans. Shape into logs. Lay on cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes until slightly golden. Remove from cookie sheet and roll at once in conRecipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Candy.
