Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- sifted cake flour - 1 c
How to make pecan cookies:
Cream butter until soft. Add vanilla. Add sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy. Sift flour. Measure and sift again with salt. Gradually add to sugar mixture. Add pecans. Mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten cookies and bake in a 325° oven for about 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Fruit.
