Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- chopped pecans - 1 lb
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1/2 lb
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- candied cherries - 3/4 lb
- candied pineapple - 3/4 lb
How to make pecan cake:
Mix all dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs one at a time. Mix this with dry ingredients. Then fold in candied fruit and nuts. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 250° for 3 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
