Pecan cake
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/3 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- flour
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- soda - 3/4 tsp
- firmly packed brown sugar
- ground nutmeg - 1 tsp
How to make pecan cake:
Combine flour, brown sugar and butter; mix until crumbly Reserve 1 cup mixture for topping. Stir sour cream, egg, nutmeg and soda into remaining crumb mixture, just until moistened. Spread into greased oblong glass baking dish. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture and pecans. Microwave on High for 5 minutes; rotate dish. Microwave on High for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool thoroughly.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
