- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 item
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- pecans - 1 c
- sticks butter - 4 item
How to make pecan cake:
Mix 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 teaspoons baking soda. Boil 2 sticks butter and 1 cup water and pour over dry mix. Add 2 eggs and 1/2 cup buttermilk and mix. Pour onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or slightly longer.Frosting: Mix 1 stick butter, 6 teaspoons buttermilk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 pound powdered sugar and 1 cup pecans. Pour over warm cake.
