Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • chopped dates - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • pecans - 1 c
  • cloves - 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar Twin - 1/2 c
  • diet applesauce

How to make pecan cake:

Cream butter until light. Add egg, sugar and vanilla. Beat. Add dry ingredients. Add applesauce. Beat on high speed. Blend in pecans and dates. Bake in loaf pan at 350° for 1 hour.
