Ingredients/Components
- hard pears - 10 lb
- can pimentos, chopped - 8 oz
- jalapeno peppers optional - 3 item
- white vinegar - 3 c
- salt - 8 Tbsp
- large green peppers - 6 item
- large onions - 6 item
- sugar - 4 c
- large bottle mustard pint - 1 item
How to make pear relish:
Easiest way is to wash pears, removing seeds and any dark spots. Wash and seed bell peppers. Peel and wash onions (jalapenos too, if used). Grind all ingredients in a food chopper. Then mix all other ingredients in large pot. Cook slowly for one hour or until thickened. Pour into jars and seal.
