Pear mincemeat

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 8 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• vinegar
• raisins - 2 lb
• lemon juice - 1 item
• cloves - 1 tsp
• orange juice - 1 item
• stick oleo - 1/2 item
• apples - 1 qt
• pears or 1 gal - 10 lb

How to make pear mincemeat:

Grate or grind pears and apples, drain off juice and add other ingredients. Cook 30 to 45 minutes slow. Stir to keep from sticking. Fill jars and seal.
