Pear honey

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 5 lb
• large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
• fresh fruit optional - 1 item
• peeled and cored pears - 6 lb

How to make pear honey:

Grind pears. Mix pears, sugar and pineapple immediately to prevent pears from turning brown. Bring to a boil and boil about 30 minutes or until syrup clears, stirring constantly. Pour in hot jars and seal.
