Pear cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 item
- milk - 1/3 c
- flour
- water - 2 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- chopped pears - 2 c
How to make pear cobbler:
Cut shortening into flour, add milk and roll dough out. Sprinkle pears onto dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll up into a roll like a jelly roll and slice. Melt margarine in an oblong pan; place slices in butter. Bring to boil sugar and water. Pour over dough mixture. Bake in 350° oven until golden brown.Peaches or apples can also be used.
