Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 lb
- white Karo - 1/2 gal
- pears - 4 gal
How to make pear butter:
Cook pears until soft; put through strainer. Then add sugar and Karo. Bake in 350° oven until thick and dark colored. Stir occasionally. Can and seal.Recipe categories: Fruit, Condiments, etc., Pears.
