  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 2
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • shredded coconut - 3/4 c
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp
  • salted peanuts Spanish - 1 c

How to make peanut cookies:

Cream the shortening, soda and brown sugar. Add eggs. Add flour, soda and cream of tartar. Add vanilla, coconut and peanuts. Drop onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 to 11 minutes being sure not to overbake.
