Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • white syrup - 2/3 c
  • oleo - 1 tsp
  • raw peanuts - 3 c

How to make peanut candy:

Mix together first 4 ingredients and cook over low heat for 1 hour. Add oleo and vanilla. Beat until creamy and pour onto waxed paper. When hard, break into pieces. Use a heavy pan for cooking. I like this better than peanut brittle.
