Peanut butter soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 3 oz
- peanut butter - 8 oz
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- celery, minced - 3 oz
- onion, minced - 3 oz
- chicken stock - 1 qt
- bacon crumbs or minced country ham - 1 item
How to make peanut butter soup:
Mix together chicken stock, onion and celery; simmer for about 1 hour. Strain out onion and celery; discard. Stir in peanut butter and dissolve. Mix flour with remaining ingredients and simmer together 15 minutes. If too thick, thin with milk. Garnish with bacon crumbs or minced country ham.
