  • water - 1 c
  • confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • peanut butter - 1 item
  • white syrup - 1 c
  • white sugar - 4 c

How to make peanut butter roll:

Boil sugar, syrup and water until it spins a thread or forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water. Remove lid from peanut butter and place whole jar in pan of hot water so it will be easy to spread.

Beat egg whites until they form into peaks and are not runny. Pour hot syrup mixture into egg whites in a stream and continue beating until firm and creamy and can be rolled out on a board or table top spread with confectioners sugar. Spread with peanut butter and roll into a roll. Cut pieces into desired thickness. (One teaspoon of vanilla can be added to the mixture while you are beating, if desired.)
