Peanut butter pie



  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • pkg
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine, softened - 1 Tbsp
  • butter or margarine, melted - 1/4 c
  • creamy peanut butter - 1 c
  • heavy cream, whipped - 1 c
  • chocolate cookie crumbs 20 cookies

How to make peanut butter pie:

Filling:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 c. creamy peanut butter1 c. sugar1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened1 tsp. vanilla extract1 c. heavy cream, whipped Combine crust ingredients. Press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Cool.

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Gently spoon into crust. Garnish with grated chocolate or cookie crumbs, if desired. Refrigerate. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
