Peanut butter pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1/4 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- egg whites - 3 item
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- graham cracker shell - 1 item
- sugar for topping - 1/4 c
How to make peanut butter pie:
Mix peanut butter and confectioners sugar; put 3/4 of mixture into pie shell. Heat all of ingredients from milk to vanilla together in a large pot until thickened (stirring all the time). Pour into pie shell. Beat egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar for topping, then put remaining peanut butter mixture on top. Brown in oven. Cool in refrigerator.
