Peanut butter cream pie



  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 item
  • cornstarch - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • chunky peanut butter - 1/3 c
  • whipping cream, whipped - 1/2 c
  • baked pie shell - 1 item

How to make peanut butter cream pie:

Combine eggs and milk in a medium saucepan; blend well. Add sugar, cornstarch and salt; stir into egg mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Pour hot filling into bowl. Cover with wax paper and chill. Whip chilled mixture until creamy; add peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour filling into pastry shell. Spoon whipped cream around edge of shell. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
