Peanut butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• sifted flour - 3 c
• peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream the shortening thoroughly. Add the sugars, eggs, vanilla and peanut butter. Gradually add flour, soda and salt. Shape into balls. Place on ungreased sheet. Flatten to 1/4 inch. Bake at 400° for 8 to 9 minutes.
