  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Blend together butter and peanut butter. Add sugar and vanilla. Chill. Form dough into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press crosswise with fork. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
