  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • sifted flour - 3 c
  • peanut butter - 1 c
  • beaten eggs - 2 item

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla; add eggs. Stir in peanut butter and add dry ingredients. Form into small balls. Bake at 375° until done.
