Peanut butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 2 Tbsp
• eggs, beaten - 2 item
• shortening - 1 c
• dash of salt - 1 item
• sifted flour - 3 c
• peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients and stir into cream mixture. Form into walnut-size balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press crisscross with fork for shape. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Makes 8 dozen.
