eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
granulated sugar - 1 c
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 2 c
brown sugar - 1 c
soda - 2 tsp
shortening - 1 c
peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars and vanilla. Stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Form into balls. Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of fork to make crisscross. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
