vanilla - 1/2 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
brown sugar - 1/2 c
butter - 1/2 c
soda - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
all-purpose flour
peanut butter - 1 c
white sugar - 1/2 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Preheat oven to 375°. Beat butter until soft. Sift together brown sugar and white sugar. Add sugar gradually to butter and blend until creamy. Beat in egg, peanut butter, salt and soda. Add sifted flour to batter. Blend in vanilla. Roll dough into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and press flat with fork. Bake 15 minutes at 375°.
