Peanut butter cake
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 2/3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- peanut butter
- brown sugar, packed - 2 c
- nonfat dry milk - 1/4 c
- creamy peanut butter - 1 c
- milk plus 1 Tbsp - 1/2 c
How to make peanut butter cake:
Frosting:1/2 c. peanut butter1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar1/2 c. milk plus 1 Tbsp.1 tsp. vanilla Add dry milk to water. Set aside. Cream butter and peanut butter. Add sugar. Mix well. Add one egg at a time. Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add to creamy mixture. Stir in vanilla. Bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 350° for 45 minutes.Frosting: Cream peanut butter and half of powdered sugar. Mix well. Add remaining sugar, milk and vanilla. Spread on cool cake.
