Ingredients/Components

  • butter, softened - 2/3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 3/4 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 2 c
  • peanut butter
  • brown sugar, packed - 2 c
  • nonfat dry milk - 1/4 c
  • creamy peanut butter - 1 c
  • milk plus 1 Tbsp - 1/2 c

How to make peanut butter cake:

Frosting:1/2 c. peanut butter1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar1/2 c. milk plus 1 Tbsp.1 tsp. vanilla Add dry milk to water. Set aside. Cream butter and peanut butter. Add sugar. Mix well. Add one egg at a time. Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add to creamy mixture. Stir in vanilla. Bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 350° for 45 minutes.

Frosting: Cream peanut butter and half of powdered sugar. Mix well. Add remaining sugar, milk and vanilla. Spread on cool cake.
