Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 2/3 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- peanut butter - 1 c
- whole eggs - 3 item
- butter or shortening - 1/4 c
- Mix well; add peanut butter
How to make peanut butter cake:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs; add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla. Mix well; add peanut butter. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° about 25 minutes. Frost with Peanut Butter Frosting.Peanut BRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
